1. Healthi Weight Loss Challenge – Terms and Conditions

   Eligibility
   • The Healthi Weight Loss Challenge is open to all participants aged 18 and over, except individuals with pre-existing health issues. By entering this challenge, participants confirm they are in good health and able to engage in weight loss activities safely.
   • This competition is only for Regenesys Education Staff.

   Competition Duration
   • The competition begins on 9 February 2026 and ends on 13 May 2026.

   Monthly Weigh-Ins
   • Participants must attend monthly weigh-ins on the last Friday of every month from 12:00 to 14:00 at the Healthi offices. The first weigh-in will take place on the start date of the competition.
   • Participants who miss a weigh-in will be eliminated from the competition, unless exceptional circumstances justify the absence. Reminders will be sent to the contestants.

   Disqualification
   • Participants who miss a scheduled weigh-in will be eliminated from the competition, unless exceptional circumstances justify the absence. In such cases, the decision will be at the discretion of the organisers.
   • Participants who resign from Regenesys during the course of the competition will also be automatically disqualified, as continued employment with Regenesys is a requirement for eligibility.

   Voluntary Participation
   • The individual who partakes in this competition does so freely, voluntarily and of their own volition. No individual will be forced to enter this competition or face any sanction for failure to enter. By joining this competition, the individual confirms that they have not been forced, coerced, or instructed to enter.

   Non-Medical Advice Disclaimer
   • The commencement and/or running of this competition does not constitute medical advice. Individuals are always required to seek professional medical advice should the need arise. Neither Healthi nor Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd, or any of their affiliates, subsidiaries or the like, will be liable for any reason whatsoever as a result of the individual’s failure to seek medical attention and/or advice as and when needed.

   Risk and Consent
   • As the individual’s participation in this competition is at their own discretion, they partake entirely at their own risk.

   POPIA Consent
   • By entering this competition, the individual agrees and consents to Healthi and/or Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd (and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, or the like) processing and analysing their personal information for the purposes of the competition.

   General Liability Waiver and Indemnity
   • Participation in the competition is entirely voluntary. Each individual acknowledges that participation may involve inherent physical, health, and medical risks, including those associated with weight loss, changes in diet, exercise, or lifestyle, and that such risks cannot be eliminated.
   • Each participant confirms that they participate in the competition at their own risk and that Healthi, and/or Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd (or any of their subsidiaries, associated entities, affiliates or the like) does not provide medical advice, supervision, or assessment regarding the participant’s fitness or suitability to participate.
   • To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant hereby waives, releases, and absolves Healthi, and/or Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd (or any of their subsidiaries, associated entities, affiliates or the like), including its directors, officers, employees, agents, and organisers, from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, medical condition, or death suffered by the participant arising from or in connection with participation in the competition.
   • Each participant further indemnifies and holds harmless Healthi, and/or Regenesys Education (Pty) Ltd (or any of their subsidiaries, associated entities, affiliates or the like), including its directors, officers, employees, agents, and organisers, against any claim, demand, action, loss, damage, or expense (including legal costs on an attorney-and-client scale, where applicable) arising out of or in connection with the participant’s participation or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
   • Nothing in this clause shall be construed as excluding or limiting any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law, including liability arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
